Our flagship event, the HackSummit, brings together 1000+ of the most driven founders, funders, and ecosystem builders shaping the future of climate, nature and industrialization in Europe and in the USA. Additionally, we run two of the world’s most active platforms for climate and food innovation: ClimateHack and FoodHack. We’ve hosted 450+ meetups in 55+ cities and connect over 50,000 innovators and investors worldwide We operate through: HackSummits : flagship global summits bringing founders, investors, and operators into the same room. Media : weekly newsletters reaching 30,000+ engaged readers Selective local activations across 30+ countries About the Role Ensure that HackSummit speakers and sponsors are fully prepared, well-positioned, and meaningfully connected, before, during, and after the event. Tasks
Your Mission : Speaker Preparation & Readiness :
Act as the primary point of contact for speakers once confirmed Collect and manage speaker assets: bio, headshot, talk description, key themes and positioning Share clear, timely information on: agenda, formats, on-site logistics, expectations Ensure speakers feel: informed, confident ready to show up at their best Speaker Goal Mapping & Opportunity Matching Proactively understand why each speaker is joining HackSummit: fundraising , partnerships? customer leads? hiring? visibility? Translate those goals into concrete on-site opportunities, such as: introductions to corporates, connections with investors, media opportunities, curated encounters with relevant peers Relay speaker needs clearly to: events (format & timing), editorial & social (visibility), sales & partnerships (who to connect) Sponsor Experience & Opportunity Activation Act as a proactive relationship manager for sponsors (post-signature): Understand each sponsor’s objectives, brand visibility, deal flow, partnerships recruitment Coordinate with the team to: connect sponsors with relevant speakers, founders, or corporates, ensure visibility opportunities are used well Be present on-site to facilitate high-value introductions Media Exposure & External Visibility Identify relevant media outlets and journalists aligned with HackSummit topics Coordinate with Editorial to: flag strong speaker stories, facilitate introductions when relevant Support speakers and sponsors in gaining additional exposure beyond the stage Ensure media interactions are intentional and well-prepared Internal Coordination & On-Site Presence Act as the internal relay between: speakers / sponsors, Events team, Editorial & Social, Sales & Partnerships Ensure the right people are in the room for key moments Flag issues early and resolve them calmly Capture insights and feedback post-event Requirements
Who you are Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable working with senior profiles (founders, investors, executives) Previous PR or relationship manager experiences required Deep understanding of Hard Tech and Deep Tech space Strong sense of preparation, anticipation, and follow-through Able to connect dots quickly and act proactively Calm under pressure, discreet, and reliable Experience with events, startups, or media environments What Success Looks Like Speakers feel prepared, supported, and well-connected Sponsors feel their participation generated real value Strong post-event traction (posts, referrals, repeat participation) Clear feedback loop into programming, sales, and media Benefits
