Utility/Energy Industry Operations Specialist Location:
San Francisco, CA Duration:
06+ months Contract (Possibility of Extension) Pay Range:
$35-$40/hr on W2, 40 Hrs/Week
Key Responsibilities
Invoice Management: Post and reconcile invoices accurately and timely; ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Purchase Order (PO) Management: Create new POs and process changes as required; monitor PO status and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
Contract Administration: Draft, review, and update contracts in alignment with business needs; track contract milestones, renewals, and compliance requirements.
Construction Schedule Monitoring: Utilize Quickbase to monitor and update construction schedules; coordinate with project teams to ensure timelines are met and issues are escalated promptly.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, procurement, and project management teams; support audits and reporting requirements as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
3–4 years of experience in operations within the Utility/Energy industry.
Hands‑on experience with invoice processing, PO management, and contract administration.
Familiarity with Quickbase or similar project management tools.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
