The Solution Architect plays a critical role in designing, presenting, and delivering technology solutions that address complex business challenges for Xerox IT Solutions clients. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong communication and consultative skills to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with client objectives.

The Solution Architect partners closely with Sales, Engineering, and Service Delivery teams to translate business requirements into innovative Microsoft-based solutions that drive measurable client value and long‑term success.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with clients to understand business objectives, technical requirements, and operational constraints.

Design end-to-end solutions leveraging Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and related services.

Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and solution assessments.

Develop solution architectures, diagrams, Statements of Work (SOWs), and level‑of‑effort estimates, including CSP licensing and subscription recommendations.

Clearly present complex Microsoft technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Collaborate with Sales on pre‑sales activities, including proposals, solution demonstrations, pricing strategies, and client presentations.

Ensure proposed solutions align with Xerox IT Solutions standards, service capabilities, and best practices.

Provide technical guidance to engineering and delivery teams during implementation to ensure solution accuracy and client satisfaction.

Identify opportunities to enhance Microsoft solution offerings, streamline processes, and improve client outcomes. \inline> Stay current on emerging technologies, vendor roadmaps, and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Systems Engineer, or similar technical consulting role focused on Microsoft technologies.

Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking, and cybersecurity principles.

Experience designing, documenting, and presenting complex technical architectures.

Excellent communication, presentation, and client‑facing skills.

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business‑focused solutions.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a consultative approach.

Familiarity with IT service delivery frameworks (ITIL preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

Senior‑level Microsoft certifications.

Experience working within the Microsoft CSP model and delivering Professional Services.

Background working with Xerox or similar enterprise technology organizations.
