Description We’re looking for a rare hybrid talent: a creative who deeply understands acquisition, conversion, and performance marketing, and can produce high-quality landing pages, ads, videos, and motion assets with minimal direction.
This role is responsible for (1) rapidly making high-performing creatives for Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and any other ad platforms, (2) producing long-form and short-form video for YouTube and Instagram, and (3) designing landing pages and graphics optimized for conversion. You’ll partner closely with our Head of Acquisition and collaborate with product designers and marketers to generate conversion-driving creative assets weekly.

*IMPORTANT: We’re looking for someone based in the mid-Atlantic east coast area, ideally in the Washington DC area who is comfortable traveling regularly to film and meet with the marketing team.
Responsibilities Performance Creative Production
Edit and animate video ads optimized for scroll-stopping hooks and strong CTAs.
Lead Youtube content strategy to create viral long form and shortform content that is engaging and constantly adapting with social trends.
Design high-converting ad creative (static, animated, and video) for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and any other ad platforms needed.
Design landing pages grounded in acquisition & conversion principles.
Produce weekly batches of new creative that perform—rapid iteration on winners/losers.
Own the creative pipeline for performance: concepting → execution → iteration.
Video Production
Edit and produce compelling video content for paid ads, social, email, and product marketing
Convert raw footage into long-form videos that get 50,000+ views on YouTube.
Create short-form videos for Instagram, Tiktok, and YouTube shorts that plays to the strengths of each platform.
Convert raw footage into high-engagement assets with strong narrative structure and pacing.
Apply UI/UX animation and motion graphics principles for product-driven videos.
Design & Motion
Create landing pages, product and feature pages, and promotional pages for website, promotions, launches, paid traffic, and A/B tests.
Develop graphics, illustrations, and short-form animations that elevate SamCart’s brand across channels.
Create wireframes, storyboards, and visual systems that bring ideas to life.
Uphold and evolve SamCart’s design guidelines, ensuring consistency across all paid and organic touchpoints.
Ideate and test creative for all stages of the funnel—cold traffic ads, retargeting, product education, and activation.
Collaborate with marketing, copywriting, and product design teams to support campaigns and launches.
Stay on top of social and creator-economy trends to inform creative strategy.
Use AI tools regularly and work AI into your creative and daily workflow.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in marketing design, video production, motion graphics, or similar hybrid creative roles.
Proven experience in scaling Youtube performance and increasing engagement across social platforms.
Proven design experience creating high-converting landing pages and ads.
Strong portfolio showcasing digital marketing creative, ad concepts, landing page design, and motion/video work.
Mastery of Figma, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator (or equivalent), and Descript.
Experience with Framer or similar website platform.
Video & Motion
Proficiency in filming and editing video content for paid social and organic channels.
Experience with audio production and mixing.
Ability to script, storyboard, animate, and edit without hand-holding.
Marketing & Performance Mindset
Deep understanding of acquisition, paid social ecosystems (especially Meta), and creative strategies that convert.
Experience working with SaaS, eCommerce, or the Creator Economy.
Ability to analyze creative performance and revise concepts quickly.
Strong grasp of social media platforms and how content behaves across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
Strong understanding of AI and uses AI regularly in workflow.
Work Ethic & Collaboration
Operates with ownership and minimal direction; thrives in fast-moving environments.
Strong organization, communication, and deadline orientation.
