Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an LTC (Long-Term Care) Pharmacy Staff Pharmacist based in San Antonio, TX. The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, dispensing medications accurately, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and providing exceptional patient care. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare providers, maintaining inventory control, and assisting with the implementation of pharmacy workflow systems to optimize efficiency and safety.

Qualifications Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication dispensing, and regulatory compliance Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and team members Problem-solving and decision-making skills to ensure safe and efficient pharmacy practices Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and inventory management Pharmacy Degree (PharmD) and a current, active pharmacist license in the State of Texas Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy or a similar healthcare setting is preferred Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and maintaining ethical pharmaceutical practices
Schedule 40 hours. Monday - Friday 11am - 7pm and 1pm - 9pm Additional shifts vary between Day and Mid (Mid shift with differential). Occasional Night or Overnight Shift to cover PTO (with differential).
