Position Overview :
Our client is seeking a Managed Care Specialist for a hybrid role based in downtown Nashville, TN. This position supports legal and managed care operations by determining program eligibility, managing case documentation, and assisting attorneys through research and case preparation.
Candidates must be local to Middle Tennessee and able to commute to the Nashville office as required. No duplicate submissions will be accepted.
Training Information :
Extensive training provided (up to 6 weeks) Training includes virtual and in-office sessions (as requested by supervisor) Attendance is mandatory every training day No preplanned PTO will be approved during training weeks
Key Responsibilities :
Determine individual and family eligibility for managed care programs Coordinate and communicate schedules with internal and external clients Conduct client interviews, collect facts, and compile case data Prepare case recommendations for attorneys Manage casework in a timely manner, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution Perform legal research and analysis of legal documents Draft and document legal findings accurately Work efficiently across **multiple databases** to extract and manage information Attend workgroup meetings and actively participate in discussions Support leadership team as needed
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Associate Degree (required) Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint) Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines independently
Preferred Qualifications :
Background in Paralegal Studies (preferred) Previous experience in a legal environment Customer service or call center experience
Additional Information :
Hybrid position in downtown Nashville, TN Contractor will work onsite and remotely based on team needs Contract duration : 12 months, with potential extension
