About Us
We are building a next-generation virtual obesity medicine clinic that integrates three proven components into one patient experience: physician-prescribed GLP-1 medications, virtual dietitian coaching, and medically tailored meals. Delivering this complex model requires a world-class digital product that drives patient engagement, supports our clinical teams, and captures meaningful data. This venture is being launched out of the venture studio of Healthcare Shares, an early-stage healthcare venture capital firm.
The Opportunity: Master Patient Engagement in Virtual Care We are seeking a seasoned Digital Health Advisor—a successful founder, product leader, or senior executive from a leading virtual care company—to join our Board of Advisors. You have "seen this movie before" and can provide invaluable strategic guidance as we build our patient-facing product and technology platform. Your role will be to act as a strategic sparring partner for our executive team, particularly our CTO and COO, helping us navigate the common pitfalls of digital health product development. You will help us answer critical questions: How do we build a truly engaging and retentive patient experience? What are the best practices for integrating synchronous and asynchronous care? How should we prioritize our product roadmap for maximum impact?
Responsibilities Advise on our overall product strategy, including roadmap prioritization, feature development, and user experience (UX/UI) design for our patient and provider-facing applications. Provide expert insights on best practices for driving long-term patient engagement, adherence, and retention in a virtual chronic care management setting. Offer guidance on key technology decisions, including buy-vs-build trade-offs, vendor selection, and platform architecture to ensure scalability. Share lessons learned from your experience scaling a successful digital health venture, helping our team anticipate challenges and accelerate our growth. Participate in quarterly virtual advisory board meetings, providing candid feedback and strategic counsel on our product and technology direction.
Ideal Candidate Profile Senior leadership experience (e.g., Founder, CEO, CPO, CTO) at a successful, venture-backed digital health or virtual care company that has achieved significant scale. Deep expertise in digital product management, patient engagement strategies, and the nuances of building consumer-grade experiences in a clinical context.
