Position Summary The Senior Superintendent provides senior-level field leadership on one or more projects while also actively supporting estimating and preconstruction efforts on upcoming projects. This role bridges preconstruction planning and field execution by applying hands-on construction expertise to budgets, schedules, logistics, and constructability.

Required Qualifications: ·

10 years of construction experience ·

5 years of field supervisory experience in construction ·

5 years as a general contractor responsible for managing multiple trades ·

Computer literacy and ability to use Procore, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam ·

OSHA 30 Hour Training ·

Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing ·

Team player that will maintain professional demeanor with all team members (in-house staff, clients, consultants, subcontractors, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications: ·

Professional fluency in Spanish ·

Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership & Project Execution Provide overall leadership and oversight of field operations on single or multiple commercial projects. Lead, mentor, and manage superintendents, assistant superintendents, and field staff. Serve as the senior on-site authority for schedule, logistics, safety, and quality. Complete daily reports on Procore Schedule all site deliveries and subcontractor work. Schedule and lead coordination meetings in advance of all work involving multiple trades. Document with meeting minutes. Ensure work conforms to contract documents, subcontractor scopes, building codes, schedule, and industry standards. Coordinate inspections, punch lists, turnover, and closeout. Capture site photos to Openspace on a weekly basis.

Estimating & Preconstruction Support Participate in preconstruction and estimating phases, providing field-driven input. Review drawings, specifications, and scopes for constructability, coordination, and risk. Develop site logistics plans, phasing strategies, and staffing plans. Provide input on: Construction durations and critical path sequencing General conditions and staffing requirements Equipment and manpower needs Assist with quantity takeoffs. Support subcontractor solicitation, scope reviews. Participate in value engineering and alternate options.

Schedule & Cost Control Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain detailed CPM schedules. Produce weekly look ahead schedules guided by the master schedule. Enforce schedules with subcontractors and vendors. Monitor labor productivity, and subcontractor performance.

Report deficiencies to PM. Identify potential schedule delays or cost impacts and implement corrective actions. Assist with change order development related to time, labor, and field impacts.

Quality & Safety Management Enforce company quality control standards and workmanship expectations. Conduct regular site inspections and audits. Lead the pre-punch walkthrough prior to the formal punch list and ensure that all pre-punch corrections are made prior to the formal punch walk with design. Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Lead jobsite safety meetings and participate in incident investigations. Conduct weekly toolbox talks with all site personnel, including collecting signatures of attendees. Maintain the site safety binder with all required information provided from the office.

Client, Subcontractor & Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate subcontractor sequencing, manpower, and site access. Evaluate subcontractor performance and enforce contractual requirements. Interface professionally with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors. xsgimln Participate in OAC, coordination, and preconstruction meetings as needed.
