About the Role: As a Therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals and families through their mental health challenges. Your primary objective will be to provide effective therapeutic interventions that promote emotional well-being and facilitate personal growth. You will work collaboratively with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals. By employing various therapeutic techniques, you will help clients navigate life transitions, manage crises, and improve their overall mental health. Ultimately, your work will contribute to creating a healthier community by empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Valid state licensure as a therapist or counselor. Experience in providing mental health counseling and therapy. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in specialized therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competency in therapy. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Responsibilities: Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address a variety of mental health issues. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and progress. Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in urgent need of assistance. Facilitate family therapy sessions to improve communication and resolve conflicts within family dynamics. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting progress and treatment outcomes. Skills: The required skills in Counseling Psychology and Mental Health Counseling will be utilized daily as you assess clients' needs and provide appropriate therapeutic interventions. Group Therapy and Family Therapy skills will enable you to facilitate sessions that foster communication and healing among participants. Crisis Intervention techniques will be essential in managing urgent situations, ensuring clients receive immediate support. Your expertise in Anger Management and Life Transitions will help clients navigate challenging emotions and significant life changes effectively. Additionally, a strong foundation in Behavioral Health will guide your overall approach to promoting mental wellness and resilience in your clients. Therapists are eligible to receive bonus payments.
