Position Overview
The Vice President of Construction will lead all construction operations. This role manages a high-performing team of Project Managers and Estimators and is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving processes, and ensuring consistent, profitable project delivery. The ideal candidate is a decisive, process-driven leader with strong communication skills and a proven background in construction leadership—preferably within restoration, insurance repair, or similarly fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and operational direction across all construction activities. Establish, implement, and continuously improve standardized processes, workflows, and performance metrics for project management and estimating functions. Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers and Estimators to promote accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Oversee projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, profitability, and client satisfaction. Collaborate with ownership and executive leadership to align construction operations with organizational growth objectives. Monitor and review project schedules, budgets, job costs, and risk mitigation strategies to maintain strong operational and financial performance. Ensure compliance with safety standards, insurance requirements, documentation protocols, and industry best practices. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and vendors. Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts to meet increasing project demand. Identify opportunities for operational improvements, technology adoption, and scalability initiatives.
Qualifications 10+ years of construction management experience, including senior leadership roles (Director, VP, or equivalent). Background in restoration, insurance reconstruction, remediation, or related sectors strongly preferred. Proven experience leading and developing project management teams. Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize operational systems and processes. Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, job costing, project controls, and financial management.
