Licensed Plumber Position Description Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and Licensed Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial settings. This role requires a proactive individual capable of leading projects, supervising junior staff, and ensuring all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map out the layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials. ·

Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids. ·

Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals and non-metals. ·

Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems, including water heaters, boilers, and other appliances. ·

Diagnose and repair issues such as leaks, clogs, or system malfunctions. ·

Conduct pressure tests to identify leaks and ensure system integrity. ·

Ensure all plumbing work adheres to local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations. ·

Conduct inspections and system testing to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance. ·

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices. ·

Provide training and mentorship to apprentice and journeyman plumbers. ·

Coordinate with other construction team members to integrate plumbing with other building systems. ·

Prepare and provide detailed cost estimates for clients. ·

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports and documentation. ·

Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide timely solutions. Qualifications: ·

Valid Plumber license. ·

Extensive experience in plumbing within the commercial sector. ·

General Maintenance experience a plus. ·

Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and plumbing standards. ·

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. ·

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. ·

Physical stamina and the ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and heights. ·

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
