Job Summary Hunter mentality, responsible for sourcing and securing business for our inhouse brokerage from new and existing customers. This includes targeting new opportunities, daily conversations about freight lanes and requirements with clients, extending rates from our pricing teams and introducing the various logistics solutions the company has to offer. Adding new customers and growing current accounts from an LTL and TL perspective is an essential.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain customers for TL and LTL business. Prospect for leads to build a sales pipeline. Manage existing accounts to retain existing relationships and grow wallet share. Consistently identify business opportunities and land RFPs related to company service offerings. Create and present sales presentations proposals for company services Work independently to generate new sales revenue. Translate opportunities into incremental re-occurring Consistently meet or exceed goals set by senior management and prepare reports when required. Be the primary contact for our customers and be responsible for managing the personal relationship between the customer and our company. Have a hunter mentality, strong communication skills, and previous customer service or sales experience a big plus
Qualifications: 3+ years experience within logistics, supply chain or a related field. Entrepreneurial attitude and confident when working independently Ability to develop long term relationships Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly Adaptable to the changing needs of clients and the logistics environment Effective follow-up skills Experience with Salesforce preferred.
