White Oak Dental is a well-established dental practice in the Chaska, MN community. We have a focus on establishing long term relationships with our patients. We provide comprehensive dental care including endodontics, oral surgery, invisalign orthodontics, crown and bridge, implant restorations and removable prosthodontics. We have a very modern office with digital x-rays, intraoral cameras, and digital restorative scanning.

We are currently looking for a Dental Assistant to join our growing team. As a Dental Assistant_, _you will be responsible for assisting in the clinical treatment of patients. A great candidate for this position would be self-motivated, enjoy dentistry and have a fun personality.

This position will be in-office, full-time with the following schedule:

Monday through Wednesday 8 AM 5 PM

Thursday 8 AM 3 PM

*Your core duties and responsibilities will be as follows:*

Preparing patients for dental work

Adhering to infection control policies by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures

Cleaning and preparing treatment rooms as needed

Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary

Providing chairside assistance with all dental procedures

Recording treatment information in patient records/charts

Taking dental x-rays and intraoral photos

Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory

Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs

Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions

Providing patient education including oral hygiene, oral health care, plaque control programs, and post operative instructions

Caring for dental equipment

*Successful candidates will possess the following skills/experience/characteristics:*

MN Dental Assistant License

Current CPR Certification

Completion of Dental Assistant Program

Experience using computers for a variety of tasks

Good written and verbal communication skills

Consistently professional appearance and attitude

Ability to provide quality patient care

At least 1 year of relevant experience

Experience with digital scanning

High initiative, autonomous, and self-governing

Strong critical thinker & superb attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with strong follow through

Flexible, collaborative, & a team player

Passionate patient advocacy

High integrity
