QA Manual Tester with SQL and Java Knowledge

Onsite QA Manual Testers with SQL and Java knowledge

Location: Portland, OR
Start Date: Immediate Need to start within 2 weeks max

Skill Essential Functions:

• Develop and execute manual / automated tests - Data exchange, component, functional, integration, performance
• Work closely with Developers on Unit Test design and analysis
• Review, clarify, and test against requirements and technical specifications
• Document and manage defects at iteration and release level
• Participate in scrum and team meetings

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The applicant must have:

• 5+ years experience as a QA Engineer or SDET with database test focus
• Writing test plans and test cases
• Operating and maintaining automated tests
• Executing manual tests and test plans
• SQL write and execute complex SQL queries
• Strong knowledge of data mapping, data models, data relationship comparisons
• Strong knowledge and experience in Agile environments, QA methodologies, concepts, processes
• Experience with a technology stack including: JAVA, JDBC, MS SQL, Oracle
• Exposure to automation tools including: HP UFT, CA DevTest
• Familiar with EDI, EDIFACT, XML, and/or X12 is a plus
