Industry Leading Construction Company Urgently Hiring A Heavy Equipment Operator

Seeking a Foreman/Heavy Equipment Operator to oversee recycling operations, including handling a rock crusher and other machinery. The role involves supervising crews, ensuring safe and efficient recycling of concrete and mulch, and maintaining equipment performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead crews in recycling operations.
• Operate heavy equipment such as rock crushers, loaders, excavators, and skid steers.
• Ensure safe and efficient recycling of concrete and mulch.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment performance.
• Adhere to safety compliance and OSHA standards.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of heavy equipment operation experience.
• Knowledge of concrete and mulch recycling processes.
• Strong leadership and crew supervision skills.
• Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Safety compliance and adherence to OSHA standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
• Ability to read site plans and coordinate workflow.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Physical capability to work outdoors in demanding conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Ocean, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
