Core-Mark International is hiring: Janitor - 1st Shift in San Antonio

Janitor – 1st Shift Company: Core‑Mark International Position Purpose The Janitor ensures the health and safety of all associates by maintaining a clean and safe workplace. Compensation & Shift Pay: $16.50 per hour Shift: 4 days a week – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday; 4:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Hours within temperature range 36 °F (cooler) to –10 °F (freezer); freezer jackets provided. Experience preferred: 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning, and janitorial work (not required). Primary Responsibilities Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines. Report all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates. Perform cleaning duties as assigned including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks. Handle all cleaning chemicals according to hazmat material sheets. Complete safety training modules on time and accurately. Operate pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles, when required. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Ability to work in a demanding physical role. Ability to work in multiple temperatures.
