You arrive for each custodial shift ready to get to work cleaning. You enjoy getting in the zone and working efficiently but are also friendly and service oriented. Whether its dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, sanitizing, restocking rooms, or doing other janitorial work, you love the satisfaction of checking off tasks./ppYou remove the trash and transport it to the appropriate areas. As needed, you help out with light maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs. At the end of each custodial shift, you feel proud seeing the school shine!/ph2Qualifications/h2pQUALIFICATIONS FOR A SCHOOL JANITOR - CLEANER/ppMinimum Requirements/ppAt least 6 months of experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes/ppThe ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc./ppMust be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English./ppPreferred Qualifications/ppHigh school diploma or GED equivalent/ppA valid drivers license with a 3-year driving record that is acceptable to the companys insurance carrier/ppWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements/ppWeather: Indoor/Outdoor (Occasional exposure to moderate weather conditions)/ppNoise level: Moderate/ppOffice conditions: Pace of work environment: Medium/ppCustomer Interaction: High/ppDescription of environment: School facility/ppFrequently required to walk and stand.
