Under general supervision, the School Secretary Grade 23E serves as the primary administrative support to the principal or headmaster, performing complex clerical work requiring independent judgment and utilizing current technology. School hours are from 9:30am to 4:10pm. Please note that the workday of all employees working in extended day schools shall begin fifteen (15) minutes prior to the beginning of the pupils' school day and shall end no later than one (1) hour after the close of the school day (up to seven (7) hours and fifty-five (55) minutes inclusive of their break and lunch) unless the employees are excused earlier by their immediate supervisor.

  • Building and maintenance support

Qualifications required include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills, including word processing and email
  • Successful completion of appropriate coursework
  • Good communication skills
