Office Assistant With Collections Experience

We are a newly established U.S.-based collections company opening a quiet office environment and are seeking a dependable Office Assistant with collections experience to support day-to-day administrative and account-related tasks. This role is ideal for an experienced collector looking to step into a more structured, lower-volume call role while supporting office operations and compliance processes. Call handling will still be required, but this is not a high-pressure, dial-heavy position. As the company grows, there will be opportunities to expand responsibilities and develop into broader administrative or compliance-support functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound collection calls in compliance with the FDCPA
  • Open, sort, and process incoming consumer and legal mail
  • Document calls, correspondence, and account activity accurately
  • File and maintain account records according to company procedures
  • Follow written scripts, policies, and compliance guidelines
  • Maintain a professional front-desk and phone presence
  • Assist with general office and administrative duties as assigned
