Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
- Represent Chick-fil-A as a brand ambassador by embracing and demonstrating our values and culture at all times
- Execute safe driving best practices when operating delivery vehicles for meal deliveries with a sense of urgency
- Ensure customer satisfaction by protecting and upholding our brand during deliveries
- Maintain operational excellence in vehicles and delivery assembly area (cleanliness, speed and accuracy, taste of food, and attentive & courteous service)
- Meet with supervisor on shift to receive specific position and duty(s)
- Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code
- Delivering orders at the requested place and time
- Using a navigation app to plan the best routes
- Staying up-to-date with weather and road conditions
- Adjusting routes based on road, traffic, and weather conditions
- Conducting daily vehicle maintenance checks
- Immediately reporting any potential vehicle issues
- Interacting with guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Providing excellent customer service
- Responsibly and respectfully represent Chick-fil-A on the road
- Obey all traffic laws and be courteous to others on the road
- Show exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
- Follow and adhere to the Chick-fil-A Hialeah Delivery Driver Agreement Packet
- Other duties as assigned when not delivering
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have a working smartphone with a data plan and GPS
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must have a valid state-issued driver's license and at least 3 years of driving experience with a clean driving record
- Ability to carry delivery tote bags (approximately 5 - 40 lbs)
- Must be able to bend over, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop, kneel, stand and/or sit for extended periods of time
- Previous delivery or professional driver experience is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps
- Ability to drive at night
- Strong communication skills
- Professional, friendly, and polite disposition
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus
