As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $15.53 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and manage access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols at the logistics and distribution location.
• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to inquiries and assisting with authorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and report any unusual activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Collaborate with site personnel to support emergency response activities and/or drills as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
