Our team loves to teach people who love to learn. Must be able to work on your feet for 10 hour shifts, and be able to regularly and easily lift 50 lbs. We follow GMP’s which means no food or jewelry in the work area and strict uniform and hygiene practices.

Summary: Mixing Operators

– follow detailed instructions to add the pre-measured raw materials in to and operate large blenders to mix batches of materials. Mixers also fully clean the blender and the room in between products. This job requires a lot of lifting, working with powders, working at heights and working closely with a team.

Available Work Schedules:

1st Shift, Monday - Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm (occasional overtime on Fridays may be required)

2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday, 3:45pm-2:15am (occasional overtime on Fridays may be required)

Essential Job Responsibilities

– will include, but are not limited to:

Clean all areas and equipment to be used, verifying it is free of contaminants

Assemble/disassemble equipment according to established procedures Verify that all necessary materials are correct, present, released, and within the expiration period

Verify all ingredients being sure they match the batch record

Notify QA to verify and select items to be checked

Segregate items to mixing specifications

Prepare clean empty drums with new liners and yellow labels

Open bags, boxes and other containers into the blender

Follow blending instructions

Discharge blended powders into drums

Weigh drums individually and all together to recording then verify the weight

Label all containers appropriately including: product name, Lot number, weight, number of doses

Use log books to document raw materials, equipment, product output, product tracking, etc.

Assure that products leaving the department are stored in the proper areas

Maintain a clear understanding of the company GMPs

Follow all safety policies and ensure work environment is free of safety hazards

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to read and write basic English

Ability to lift 50lbs from ground to waist frequently

Must not be afraid of heights

Basic math knowledge (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Ability to work 10 hours a day standing up

Pay Rates:

1st Shift: $18.50/ hour

2nd Shift: $19.50/ hour
