Position Title: Warehouse Technician & Driver
Division: Live Productions
Immediate Supervisor: Warehouse Manager
Location: Nashville

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION Under the responsibility of the Warehouse Manager, the technician assists in the pull, prep, and return of equipment orders. Technician shall also be responsible for local pick ups and deliveries of equipment. This position requires some overnight and weekend deliveries.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Examine the lists of equipment to be prepared during the day of their dept
Determine daily priorities based on timelines given
Together with the supervisor, coordinate the preparation of orders on a priority basis
Prepare, scan and insert complex orders for transport
The technician may be required to customize the equipment if requested by the customer according to the order
Complete the lists in the R2 software
Confirm orders are complete with all accessories
General upkeep of equipment
Follow quality standards as well as the company’s and/or industry’s standards of preparation
All other duties related to the position
Load and secure equipment into a number of Solotech vehicles
Safely operate Solotech vehicles for local equipment pickups and deliveries
Have availability for late night and weekend pickups and deliveries
May be required to work in the following departments:
Sound, Lighting, Video, Cable, Rigging, Shipping/Receiving
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION Education
Degree in Audiovisual or another relevant field a plus
Experience
Experience in a live entertainment equipment company or live entertainment production
Experience in a warehouse environment (1 year)
Experience operating commercial vehicles from sprinter van to 26’ box trucks (2 years)
Knowledge
Knowledge of inventory software, specifically R2 (an asset)
Knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Knowledge in road and transportation laws/rules pertaining to commercial vehicles
Specific Requirements
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate information in a logical and clear way
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include some nights and weekends
Self-starter with the ability to work alone at times, without direct supervision
Ability to prioritize within tight deadlines
Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
Attention to detail
Forklift experience (an asset)
Ability to obtain a TN driver health card to operate commercial vehicles
