Acme Distribution, is a leading supply chain and logistics company in Denver, Colorado. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Class A CDL driver out of Colorado Springs. This position offers the opportunity to be home daily and work with a team that values exceptional customer service and safe operations.
Responsibilities
Perform direct to store deliveries (3-5 stops/day). Driver unload. Must be able to use pallet jack and lift gate.
Operate manual day cab and 53-foot trailer.
Ensure compliance with DOT, warehouse, and shipping documentation, including freight bills, BOLs, Over-Short-Damage reports, manifests, and driver's logs.
Adhere to safety policies in warehouse, docks, driving, loading, and unloading.
Provide exceptional customer service and complete deliveries in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
Conduct pre/post-dispatch equipment inspections.
Ensure safe operation of all equipment.
Qualifications
Hazmat endorsement required within 3 months of employment.
Valid Class A CDL with at least 6 months of experience (mountain driving experience a plus).
Ability to drive a manual transmission.
Maintain a clean driver's record.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must be 21+ years of age.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
This is somewhat a sedentary role. Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50lbs may at times be expected.
Specific vision abilities may be required for this role. These abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, as well as good depth perception.
Must have the ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time.
You will need to be able to twist, bend, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch when needed.
Repetitive movements are a big part of our environment, so you will need to be able to use your hands and feet simultaneously.
This is a warehouse environment, so it consists of occasional extreme temperature shifts ranging from very cold to very hot.
If you are operating Industrial Lift Equipment, you will need to be able to get on and off the equipment on a regular basis. Certain equipment may expose you to heights as well.
There can be exposure to loud noises and dust.
You will have regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving equipment.

Compensation Pay: $25.50-$31.50 per hour, depending on experience
