Westaff is Seeking Warehouse Operator for Manufacturing Company in Shelton, CT
The Warehouse Operator completes various functions of distribution activities to complete supply chain requirements of the company and its customers.
Pay rate:$20.25/hr + .75 shift differential
Night Shift:6:55pm – 7:00am , *rotating schedule*
Warehouse Operator Responsibilities Include:
Packing merchandise to be shipped out.
Labeling shipments.
PerformingQuality Checks on shipments to make sure they are accurate and up to company standards.
Scan Gun/ RF Scanners
Forklift, electric pallet jack, and reach truck experience.
Enters orders manually or with computer using programs such as TMM, Word, Excel and e-mail
Key responsibilities of a Distribution Operator:
Pull & examine shipments to ensure specifications are met.
Operate Forklift to load & unload trucks, transport, & locate product within the facility.
Use handheld device to scan items & compare data on counts and weights.
Complete small package paperwork for UPS, Fedex, performing computer data entry.
Skills and Qualifications of a Distribution Operator:
High school diploma or GED.
Prior Forklift experience on both manual and automatic.
Follow SOP’s.
Microsoft word, Excel, Email and small package shipping systems.
