Assist customers, process sales, suggest add on sales, keep department merchandise in stock and recovered. Stock fashion, ad, basic merchandise on the sales floor and/or display fixtures, and provide product information. Responsibilities
Model "Customer 1st" behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service Answer telephones when necessary Stock displays with new or back-stock merchandise Set up advertising signs and display merchandise on fixtures to attract customers and promote sales as directed Verify shelf stock levels are maintained Maintain and recover assigned section(s) Build ends and displays Comply with ticketing standards, apply Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) security tags to operational standards Comply with corporate policies Promote and follow Company initiatives Comply with all safety guidelines and standards When working in Shoe Section: Maintain clean, safe work area to preserve customer safety; put away shoes left on floor Set up table and end cap displays Maintain and recover department Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation Qualifications
Minimum Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or combination of relevant education and experience. Minimum 16 years of age Ability to pass drug test Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work weekends on a frequent basis, work any shift, and overtime as needed Maintain confidentiality Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure Ability to operate the following special equipment, machinery, and/or special tools: Swiftach, Symbol, Shelf Price Audit (SPA) unit Related retail experience Job Info
