The core responsibilities of this role include:

Rough Terrain Forklift Operator

Shift:

1st Shift 7am-3:30pm

Days:

Monday - Friday

Pay:

$21 per hour

Required Qualifications:

Previous experience with MHE.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience loading/unloading flatbed/step deck trailers.

Key Accountabilities

Loading, unloading, moving, stocking, staging, and storing products and materials using rough terrain forklift lifts (RTFLs) in an outdoor environment that is exposed to the elements

Utilize the telescoping boom with attachments for specific products as required

Provide physical labor to move product to storage areas with proper material handling equipment

Efficiently stock and store merchandise in appropriate areas

Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is correct

Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy

Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards

Report quality variances

Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, orderly fashion

Assist in physical inventories

Ensure proper stock rotation

Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Required Education and Experience

HS Degree or equivalent

Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment

6 months warehousing and inventory experience

Six months forklift operation experience

Ability to spend 80% of time operating powered material handling equipment

Ability to work in an outdoor environment

Have appropriate eye, hand and foot coordination to properly execute position.

Basic familiarity with the warehousing

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work specified shifts

Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules

Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions

Working knowledge of warehouse management system equipment
