Salary Range:
$57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Source and identify new suppliers for raw materials and components.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Monitor supplier performance, quality, and compliance with specifications.
Collaborate with production and planning teams to ensure material availability.
Manage inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize waste.
Conduct market research to identify trends and cost‑saving opportunities.
Recommended Qualifications
3-5 years of direct purchasing or procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for procurement and inventory management.
Demonstrated strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, or material data sheets.
Proven track record of achieving cost savings and supply chain efficiencies.
Bonus Qualifications
Strong technical aptitude or experience with manufacturing processes and materials relevant to the industry.
Proficiency with advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for spend analysis and supplier performance tracking.
Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Experience with e‑procurement disappearing from such reasoning.
