Assistant, Events (Temporary) - The Landmark, NYC The Events Assistant will play a vital supportive role in the planning and execution of bespoke client-related events and activations at The Landmark. Working closely with the Events Specialist and Manager, this individual will be a key contributor to crafting unique and memorable experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive support for client events and activations.

Assist with non-client and ad hoc events, including internal corporate events (Tiffany & LVMH), brand activations, and press events.

Support the execution of on-site events and activations, contributing to day-of coordination.

Assist with event planning timelines and help anticipate on-site event needs.

Support in gathering data for post-event reporting and ROI analysis.

Assist in sourcing and managing relationships with luxury vendors.

Support the management of invoices and vendor payments.

Help track event spending and budgets.

Provide support to Client Relations during High Jewelry events.

Collaborate with store partners to ensure smooth event operations, including on-site support when needed.

Assist with managing logistics before, during, and after events (e.g., invitations, gifts, guest lists, RSVPs, travel, billing, and invoices).

Support the process and staffing for event check-in.

QUALIFICATIONS

1 year of experience in a support role within luxury retail, hospitality, or events

Ability to work on site at The Landmark 5 days a week, up to and including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

The hiring range for this position ranges from $25.00- $30.00. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
