Job Description:
Mercer County Senior High School is seeking an Assistant High School Track Coach to support the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices, coaching assigned events, and supervising student-athletes during practices and competitions.
Responsibilities include:
assisting with practices and meets, coaching event groups, promoting sportsmanship and academic success, supervising athletes, and supporting team operations.
Qualifications:
prior coaching or track and field experience preferred; knowledge of track and field rules and safety; strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work with high school students. Required certifications and background checks per district policy.
Schedule:
seasonal, after-school practices with some evenings and weekends.
