The Program Attendant works under the direction of the Program Lead and Guest Services Supervisor. Program Attendant will be responsible for assisting with the operation and supervision of children for Community Center Youth Programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment in which both children and parents feel comfortable.
Coordinate activities for children of all ages.
Engage and play with children in a safe and courteous manner, being aware of any potentially unsafe conditions.
Encourage inclusivity for all children in the program and adjust play as needed.
Aide in the preparation, set up, and clean up for crafts, games, and activities.
Responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of rooms and supplies; maintain a healthy environment.
Familiar with membership options, and ensuring children are registered in RecTrac program.
Open and close daily operations for Program.
Enforce all general building policies and safety standards and regulations in all facilities.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & CERTIFICATIONS:
Must be 16 years of age or older.
CPR and first aid must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
Must speak, read, and write English fluently.
1 year of previous experience working with children is recommended, but not required.
