Title III Tutor - Part-Time

1000-199 Instruction/Other Salaries and Compensation Position: Teachers working off contract hours providing supplemental services for English Learners Rate: $45.00 per hour Title III English Learner Supplemental Tutoring for select ELs ($45.00 per hour for up to 6hours per day) to be held in June, focusing on supplemental work with language acquisition/development/academic vocabulary, and Literacy for each student in small groups or individually. Duties will include: Maintain EL attendance and activity log. Prepare English Learner Learning Plans in language development/academic vocabulary, Literacy and/or content area support for each student. Provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in students. Collaborate with students, parents, teachers, school administrators, or counselors to determine student needs, develop tutoring plans, or assess student progress. Preparing activity/lesson plans for tutoring sessions according to student needs and goals. Providing individual or small group instruction to students to improve academic performance in the identified areas of need.
