An established manufacturing company in the Fox Valley area is looking for a Shop Assistant on 1st shift to add to their Machine Shop. The primary responsibility of the Shop Assistant will be operating a band saw, manual mills and other equipment as needed to assist Machinists with processing parts. They will also assist with assembly, shipping and receiving, and entering data into ERP system. This is a very clean and well organized, climate-controlled shop!
The Shop Assistant has the option of working Monday through Friday either 7:00 am - 3:00 pm or 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and wages are based on experience between $20-$25/hour.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2+ years’ experience in an industrial/shop environment.
Previous machine shop experience ideal.
Experience using micrometers, calipers and other measuring equipment.
