Crossing Guard Substitutes
The Longmeadow Police Department is actively seeking Crossing Guard Substitutes for shifts for the upcoming/current 2025/2026 school year.
Responsibilities
Shifts are five (5) days per week and run approximately 45 minutes in duration per crossing period.
Morning crossing starts at approximately 8:00 am with dismissal crossing starting at approximately 2:40 pm.
Assist the police department in staffing school crossing posts whenever regularly assigned crossing guards are absent.
Ensure the safety of children traveling to and from the Town's schools, stopping traffic and escorting children safely across streets.
Qualifications
Salary $17.57 per hour; no benefits.
