Legal Assistant
to join our
Nashville, Tennessee , office. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment that values excellence, professionalism, and client service.
Position Overview The Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling a variety of civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Minimum
2–5 years of experience
as a Legal Assistant
Proficiency in
Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Office Suite
Experience with
ProLaw Case Management Software
(or similar platform) preferred
Excellent
organizational, communication, and writing
skills
Ability to
multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
independently
Typing speed of at least
45 words per minute
Ability to
lift up to 35 lbs
Key Responsibilities
Manage
scheduling and calendaring
of hearings, depositions, mediations, conferences, and related events
Draft and prepare pleadings, correspondence, and discovery documents
Prepare attorneys
for hearings, depositions, and other proceedings
Handle
incoming pleadings, mail, and invoices
Perform
electronic court filings
and maintain organized case files
Communicate professionally with
clients, attorneys, experts, and court personnel
Support attorneys and team members as needed to ensure efficient case management
