Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Monitor, coordinate, and reconcile inbound/outbound rail schedules, and enter billing in SAP.* Serve as primary liaison between HM Logistics, Union Pacific, internal/external customers, and third-party vendors.* Reconcile vendor invoices, schedule railcar cleaning, and maintain rail-related administrative records.* Provide on-call support and cross-train in scale house operations and truck automation procedures.* Coordinate logistics for special events, handle non-PO package shipments, enter purchase requisitions, and serve as a back-up for the plant clerical staff.* Engage in plant safety walkthroughs and inspections to ensure compliance and promote a safe work environment.* Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 4:30pm and rotational weekends (SAT & SUN).**What Are We Looking For*** Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.* Rail industry knowledge is a plus* Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.**Work Environment*** Position is based in a plant quarry setting within the plant environment.* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.**Physical Demands*** Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.* Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.* Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.* Ability to work in varying plant conditions.**What We Offer*** Competitive base salary, Hourly Role with the Opportunity for Overtime Weekly. 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions, highly competitive benefits programs, including:
