Adjunct Faculty will teach classes in the Department of Social Work, on an as needed basis. The Department of Social Work offers a BA degree in Social Work and a MSW degree. Undergraduate courses are typically offered in the day time while graduate courses are typically offered in the evening. Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University’s Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
Responsibilities
Teach one or more classes in either face-to-face or online formats.
Availability to hold office hours and meet with department chairs or directors when necessary.
Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching-learning environment.
Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program. A minimum of two years post- MSW practice experience. Excellent communication skills. Experience teaching courses in social work at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching courses in social work at the undergraduate or graduate level; experience teaching online courses.
Work hours Part-time; as needed basis
