Camp Redwood Glen 3100 Bean Creek Rd Scotts Valley, CA 95066, USA The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring lodging, meeting spaces, and other assigned housekeeping areas are cleaned in a manner that presents a constant image of cleanliness, order, and a high standard of sanitation. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of all camp buildings used by guests Clean and prepare all areas for use by the rental group Collect, wash, dry, and fold any linen, sleeping bags, or other items that have been used by rental groups Maintain laundry room(s) in clean and orderly fashion Maintain Cleaning Closet(s) in a clean and orderly fashion Secure all janitorial/housekeeping supplies and equipment pertinent to guest services Maintain inventory of supplies needed Check lights, smoke detectors, CO2 detectors and fire extinguishers Ensure the readiness of all accommodations and restrooms for incoming rental groups Assist in the cleanliness of indoor meeting spaces Other related duties as required EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent (required) SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision EQUIPMENT USED: Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
