My County Parks
This is a part-time seasonal position working 32-40 hrs. per week from April through September. Specific start and end dates can be flexible.
Location of Openings:
Hannen Lake Park, Rodgers Park, and Wildcat Bluff Recreation Area

Position Responsibilities:
General park maintenance and facility maintenance
Mowing, trimming and trail maintenance
Cleaning restrooms
Helping with environmental education programs
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education, Experience and Skills Required:
High school diploma or GED
18 years of age
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to operate various maintenance equipment such as zero turn mowers, hand tools, and truck and trailer.
Preferred Skills:
Preference will be given to applicants working towards a degree in Natural Resources or another related field.
Physical Demands/Work Hours:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
This position will sometimes require working overtime, including non-traditional hours, weekends and holidays.
