The Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician is responsible for the installation, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of the plant electrical and controls equipment. The I&E Technician will support equipment which includes but is not limited to the following:
Natural gas and liquids separation
Condensate stabilization
Amine treating and gas dehydration
Turbine, reciprocating, and screw compression
Turbine power generation
Propane refrigeration
Natural gas cryogenic processing
CO2 compression, treating, and dehydration
Reverse Osmosis water treating & pumps
Transmitters, valves, actuators, and other instrumentation
Gas and liquids measurement equipment
PLCs and plant control, safety, and communications systems
PDC, MCC, transformers, breakers, wiring, motors, VFDs, generators, and additional electrical equipment
Electrical substation & power distribution
Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Qualifications In addition, the I&E Technician will be a key contributor to the proactive safety culture. This is a unique grass-roots opportunity in which the I&E Technician will play a role in the construction of the facility, along with the development of plant maintenance and operating procedures. The I&E Technician will interface regularly with plant mechanic, plant operator, engineering, control room, supply chain, management, and safety teams. The ideal candidate will possess a broad knowledge of I&E equipment maintenance and operations and have a proven track record as a leader. Position will have a rotational schedule of day shifts with night call-out responsibilities during the shift. Housing will be provided during the shift.
