As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and delivering outstanding customer service while supporting access control. Carry out security-related screening procedures for individuals and/or vehicles entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location. Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with questions and site-specific procedures. Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through observation and reporting. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Document and report any irregularities, unusual circumstances, or potential hazards encountered during assigned duties. Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence. Support emergency response activities as required by site‑specific policies and procedures. Communicate clearly and professionally with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and local authorities as needed. Minimum Requirements

X‑Ray screening experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
