Full-time & Part-time Security Officers
at Orlando International Airport. We are responsible for day-to-day security screening and access control of airport employees and other individuals passing through screening locations and various access points across the airport.

Essential Functions:
Responsible for identifying dangerous objects and preventing those objects from being transported through Screening Locations. Carry out duties in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service. Use diverse, cutting edge electronic detection and imaging equipment. Perform metal detection searches, pat down searches, operation of x-ray machines, physical searches of property, and other identification review as needed. Additional security related duties to ensure safety to the traveling public. Legally eligible to work in the United States Must be able to obtain Florida Class D Security License High School Diploma or G.E.D. Must read, write and speak English proficiently Must be able to pass a verifiable background check, including criminal, employment, education, and personal references Must possess valid state-issued Driver's License or a valid state-Issued I.D. card Must be able to pass pre-employment/annual/random drug screenings Must have reliable transportation Must be able to work and interact with the public Must be able to work around the flexibility and changing of schedules. This includes being available to work shifts throughout the day, afternoon, evening, and overnight as required.
Physical Demands
Work is normally performed in airport terminal buildings, outdoor locations, ramp areas, and near commercial aircraft where persons will be exposed to all types of weather. This position requires working outside in all types of weather conditions. There are no guarantees of hours.
