Job Description Position Purpose: Our Barista’s will be responsible for executing the Starbucks Experience for Bashas' customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.
Responsibilities: A Barista is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast‑paced environment and provide excellent customer service.
Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and the mission of both Bashas’ and Starbucks
Operating a register and accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change
Assisting all customers by providing information and resolving any complaints
Assisting with stocking shelves, facing, cleaning and dusting as needed
Maintaining Safety and Sanitation standards throughout the store
All other related duties as assigned
Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:
Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending
