Financial Associate

(Teller/New Accounts) is responsible for providing a consistent positive and professional customer service experience demonstrating a high level of sales proficiency in person and on the phone. The role involves engaging with customers and bank personnel, fostering relationships, demonstrating strong communication skills, initiative, and a sales mentality. Duties include handling customers’ initial needs, assisting with opening new accounts, conducting routine teller transactions, cross‑selling products, and referring customers to other lines of business. Responsibilities

Opening deposit accounts and ancillary deposit services Processing paying and receiving transactions Balancing transactions and cash, ensuring adequate audit trail Uncovering customer expansion opportunities and referring them to proper associates Performing account maintenance and related activities Adhering to internal controls and regulatory requirements Meeting service standards in person and on the phone Qualifications

High School diploma or GED Minimum of two years of retail, sales, or banking experience Basic knowledge of retail products, policy, procedures, documentation and systems; proficiency in customer service, interpersonal skills, selling, cross‑selling, referral skills; strong mathematical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills preferred Skills

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent interpersonal, communication, and written communication skills Solid organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality Lifting in an office setting up to 30 lbs. may be required ANBTX strongly encourages candidates that are fluent in English and Spanish to apply.
