As a Ground Support Operator / Field Service Operator, you'll be a critical part of daily flight operations—supporting delivery drones from the ground up by ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

work hours: 9am to 6pm

responsibilities:
Set up, launch, recover, and secure delivery drones at active sites ("nests")
Perform
pre‑flight and post‑flight aircraft inspections
Complete daily start‑of‑day and end‑of‑day operational checks
Inspect, maintain, and replace nest equipment as needed
Follow standard aircraft maintenance practices per UAS Maintenance Manuals
Participate in daily crew briefings and coordinate closely with the Pilot‑in‑Command
Ensure all operations meet
FAA regulations
and company safety protocols
Travel between multiple nest locations as needed (mileage reimbursed)
Schedule & Logistics
Expected Hours:
Between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Max:
40 hours per week
Schedules vary by site , including:
8 hours / 5 days per week
Or rotating shifts (12, 12, 12, 4)
Special Onboarding Requirement
Must be available to travel to
Dallas for paid training
Dates:
Sunday
2/8 - 2/14
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Lift and carry up to
35 lbs
Crouch, bend, and lift objects up to
20 lbs
Push/pull wheeled carts up to
200 lbs
Remain on your feet for extended periods
Work outdoors in varying conditions
Maintain strong situational awareness and visual alertness at all times
qualifications:
Valid Driver's License & current auto insurance
FAA Part 107 Certification / License
Ability to pass Background Check (BGV) and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, safety‑critical environment
