Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Security Officer, where you will monitor and patrol designated government locations to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will remain visible throughout your assigned area, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate professionally with all individuals on site. Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors in a government location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed patrol protocols as required by the post profile. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Assist with emergency response activities, following established protocols and collaborating with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed. Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during assigned shifts. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters. Remain alert and prepared to address security-related concerns unique to government environments, adapting to varying working conditions as needed. Minimum Requirements
At least one year of security-related experience is required. An armed guard card or license is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Handcuffing certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
