As an Armed Security Officer specializing in access control at a government location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This role also requires driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:
Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
Monitor and operate access control systems to help deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations inraagt calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns. administrator>

Minimum Requirements:
Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. \सम> As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
