Network Fire & Security
We are currently seeking career-oriented installation technicians that can work independently and self-motivate. As an installation technician, you would install and service fire alarm, security, IP video surveillance, access control, nurse call and other low voltage systems in commercial construction settings.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: (MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE 5+ YEARS)
Experience with fire alarm, access control, security intrusion, sound, communications or related experience is necessary.
NICET II certifications and Michigan Fire Alarm Specialty Technician license.
A working knowledge of equipment applications, mounting techniques, programming and testing.
Ability to interpret engineered drawings, blue-prints and schematics
Troubleshoot System Troubles.
Knowledge of NFPA Codes: National Electrical Code, National Fire Alarm Code and NFPA 101
Must be able climb ladders and tolerate heights reaching a minimum of 12-32 feet or higher using man-lifts.
Must be able to recognize and identify colors.
Must be able to travel and have limited overnight stays out of town.
Must be Dependable and have a punctual attendance.
Ability to complete the necessary paperwork in an accurate manner.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma, (Two-year Electronic Degree or Military Training) – Preferred
Valid driver’s license
No Felonies on background check
Strong leadership skills
Detail oriented
Candidate must have strong computer skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent attitude, strong work ethic and work quality
