Ascent Hospitality is seeking a uniquely qualified Public Area Attendant.
Responsibilities
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public spaces such as lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and lounges. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; dust furniture; clean windows; and sanitize surfaces to uphold high hygiene standards. Ensure supplies (toiletries, towels, etc.) are stocked; manage trash removal; report maintenance issues or damages promptly. Provide courteous assistance to guests and collaborate with team members to maintain operational efficiency. Adhere to hotel cleanliness, safety, and procedural standards; maintain flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules and additional tasks as required. Benefits

Proficient in cleaning techniques including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and surface sanitization. Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and equipment used in hospitality settings. Ability to monitor and manage inventory of supplies such as toiletries and towels. Adherence to safety protocols and hygiene standards to maintain a safe environment. Effective communication for guest interactions and responding to inquiries or requests. Collaborative work style to achieve operational goals. Detail-oriented with strong focus on cleanliness and inspections. Good time management to prioritize tasks and maintain cleanliness across shifts. Adaptability to varying work conditions and schedules. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Extended periods of standing and walking. Lifting and carrying cleaning supplies and equipment. Bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching for cleaning tasks. Pushing and pulling cleaning carts and equipment. Repeating cleaning motions such as sweeping and mopping. Physical stamina for scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays. Proper lifting techniques and safety practices to prevent injuries. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role preferred. Physical fitness to meet job demands like standing, walking, lifting, and bending. Proficiency in cleaning techniques and knowledge of cleaning products and equipment. Basic communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues. Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Dependable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Understanding and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
