What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution’s premises and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and assist with the enforcement of access control policies to help deter unauthorized entry.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and site operations.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or requests for assistance, including providing support to law enforcement or emergency response teams as needed.
Minimum Requirements
An armed guard card or license is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
